What MCP enables
The Model Context Protocol, or MCP, lets a compatible AI agent use Creatype on behalf of your account. An analysis can be requested in natural language without leaving ChatGPT, Claude or your working tool.
The official remote connector is https://api.creatype.cc/mcp. It exposes audience analysis only: billing, Creatype Business and administration are never exposed to the agent.
What the agent can do
- Read your plan, your usage state and the current rates.
- Browse the history your account can see.
- Prepare a quote for a public piece of content.
- Set the number and mode of Creatypes, profiles, comments, model, depth and output language.
- Confirm, follow or cancel an analysis, then read its Creatypes, themes, requests, feedback and collection figures.
Plan and credits used
An analysis started through MCP uses the plan of the connected account, its usage window, its limits and its usage credits. The calculation is identical to the web app.
Analyses created from the web app and from MCP appear in the same history.
The personal MCP is an access of your own and stays revocable from the settings.
Two ways to connect
- ChatGPT and Claude.ai use a secure web connection: Creatype asks you to sign in, then to authorise the connector.
- Claude Code and local agents use a personal token shown only once and a manual MCP configuration.
